Product Introduction

The D. F. Pressure has been designed specifically for the use on CPU coolers and radiators and achieved already at low speed a significantly higher static pressure than a simple case fan.

The use of high-quality, heat-resistant components allows an operation at high temperatures (up to 85 ° C). The patented technology DFR ™ allows the D. F. Pressure to remove automatically the dust from the fan blades. After starting the PC, the fan spins in reverse at full speed removing all the dust. After that it will shift back to the normal operation mode.

Thanks to the APS function ( "Adjustable Peak Speed") you can select the speed range of D. F. Pressure-fan on three levels: Ultra Silent mode (800-1000 RPM), Silent Mode (800-1500 RPM) and Performance Mode ( 800-2000 RPM). In this way, the user can chose the perfect balance between cooling performance and DBA according to the needs of his system. Within the selected operating mode, the speed is controlled automatically by the PWM controller on the motherboard. The D.F. Pressure is based on the second generation of the patented, quiet running Twister bearing with a lifetime of 160,000 hours MTBF.

Dust Free Rotation™ Technology

 
  • DFR™ (Dust Free Rotation) technology
    The patented DFR ™ helps to increase the product lifetime by reducing dust accumulation and therfore increses the cooling performance.
    The fan
    reverse spins after starting to remove accumulated dust from the fan blades.
    After 10 seconds it returns to normal operation.
 

Speed Controls

 
  • Adjustable Peak Speed (APS)
    Multi-purpose fan for easy customisation according to the system requirements. With a small switch on the side, the end user can choose three different RPM ranges: Ultra Silence Mode / Silence Mode / Performance Mode.
  • PWM Speed Control
    Flexible fan speed control via mainboard pulse width modulation (PWM) within the selected RPM range Modus (800 - 1.000 RPM / 800 - 1,500 RPM / 800 - 2,000 RPM).

  • High Pressure Blade Design
    High pressure blade design is a precision engineering of the fan blade angle and shape calculation. The blades concentrate the airflow to the center of the fan.

Dust Free Rotation™ technology

 

The patented DFR™ technology allows the D. F. Pressure to remove automatically the dust from the fan blades. After starting the PC, the fan spins in reverse at full speed removing the dust. After that it will shift back to the normal operation mode.

The 2nd Generation of the Patented Twister Bearing Technology

The bearing shaft is fixed to the rotor. When you turn the fan on, a small magnet inside the bearing holds the shaft in position. The convex surface of the base reduces the frictional resistance and ensures a quiet and smooth fan rotation. The sleeve is made from a self-lubricating material and prevents the bearing from draining and corrosion. That way, Enermax guarantees an exceptionally long lifetime of 160,000 hours (MTBF). Another useful feature of the Twister fans is the “Click Mechanism”. By pressing the rear side of the blades, you can detach the rotor and clean it from dust. Put it back on the base and press it down until you hear a “click”.
